Cabo’s “Operation Summer Lifeguard 2019' kicked into action on July 8th, evacuating a US tourist who suffered seizures while diving near Pelican beach.
The rapid response rescue team successfully removed the diver from the water and delivered him safely into medical care.
A job well done. And comforting for beach-goers to know that help is always near at hand.
BUT swimming around Cabo can be dangerous. So please pay attention to tidal warnings. These are easily spotted by the colored flags, visible on all beaches. Green means all good for swimming and diving. Yellow means be careful of currents and deteriorating weather. And red is a definite no-go - and bathers should NOT enter the sea.
Please take care. And enjoy all the beautiful beaches that Cabo has to offer.Best way to see them all is to get the desert bus. It only costs only a few dollars and stops at all the beaches along the corridor.
And even better, the bus stop is only a couple of minutes walk from Los Milagros Hotel. We'll even give you beach towels and umbrellas! Book now - rooms from $70-$120 (including taxes) .
